  • Metaanalysis using metadta, problem with continuity correction

    Hi there.
Please could I ask how to do a metadta test with continuity correction on Stata?I am performing a meta-analysis with 9 studies. Six of these studies have zero events in the false positive table.
I have tried doing it manually by swapping zero with 0.5, but i get the following command:
    _000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
Model could not converge after 4 attempts with different options. Try fitting a

This topic was also posted in Statalist's General forum, a more appropriate location, at

This is Statalist's Mata Forum, which is used for discussions of Stata's Mata language, which is different than Stata's command language.

Also, if you have not already done so, take a look at the Statalist FAQ linked to at the top of this page for posting guidelines and suggestions.
