  • Metaanalysis using metadta, problem with continuity correction?

    Hi there.
Please could I ask how to do a metadta test with continuity correction on Stata?I am performing a meta-analysis with 9 studies. Six of these studies have zero events in the false positive table.
I have tried doing it manually by swapping zero with 0.5, but i get the following command:
    _000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
    __000005 must be integer-valued
Model could not converge after 4 attempts with different options. Try fitting a

Sounds as though either you are not processing the data correctly, are attempting to conduct a test that is ill-suited for the data, or are including too many variables, which is not allowing some form of identification in the test. Otherwise, please be sure to read the substantive help file documentation for -metadta-, which could point you in the right direction.
