about how to calculate Firm age

Hi everyone, I would like to ask how to calculate firm age if I want to use the WRDS database?
According to my key paper "A natural log of the number of years since the firm's foundation", it should be calculated like this.
But I don't know what data to look for. Should I use the data from Compustat or BoardEx?
