Cannot install Stata 13 on Mac

Dear all,

I am trying to install Stata 13 on a Mac, with the latest OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 system. However, when I double click the Installer.app, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to debug this issue?

sounds like a job for tech support; I certainly had no problem with Stata 13 on Mavericks

Peng, try running the installation app as a root via terminal. You may also want to disable Maverick's security feature blocking apps outside App Store.
