  • How to instal SSi package for mac?

    I need to be able to use ssi command for
    Sample size and power calculation for balanced two-group randomized controlled trials (including non-inferiority and equivalence trials)

    using Stata 13.1 for mac.. I can install this package into stata and be able to run the command?.

    Do you know the name of the program? Usually you can just type -findit progname- .

      Hi Richard, Thank you for your reply;
      I was given this link: http://fmwww.bc.edu/RePEc/bocode/s/... where you can download the option ssi.pkg where a do file with this specific command for Randomized clinical trials, and then stata recognizes the command but apparently it can not be opened with apple.. was just wondering if someone knew the Mac version is there is any..

        Just do -findit ssi- click on the link then click on install. Do this from within Stata.

          Stata 13 did add a bunch of new power commands, in case any of them do what you want. See http://www.stata.com/stata13/power-and-sample-size/ and http://www.stata.com/meeting/new-orl...-marchenko.pdf .
