  • graph asis VS asyvars

    Hello,

I am not able to understand the difference between asis and asyvars in graph commmand.
    Can someone explain this please.
I am sure this is a basic questions for the advanced stata users on this forum , but I cannot understand it. I tried and read the online mannual.
    Thank you

They are quite different -(asis)- says show the data as is in -graph bar|hbar|dot-, so not as means or as something else. If this appears, it is always before a variable name. -asyvars- means show what is being shown as if they were separate y variables, I.e. differently. If this appears, it is always as an option.
