Hi Statalisters ! Our Data & Research team at Texas 2036 (a non-partisan policy research organization in Austin, TX, USA)is growing and we’re opening two additional roles:
• Senior Research Analyst
• Data & Systems Analyst
We’re building something a little different.
We want our data and analysis to be anticipatory - helping surface the trends and questions Texas should be paying attention to before they become urgent while staying responsive to the real-time questions that shape decisions as they happen. The policy-facing work we do involves investing in data infrastructure, rigorous research, and analytic products that help Texans understand where the state is headed over the long term. And because we work at the intersection of research and policy, we get to see that work translate into real decisions and real impact. We also meet the needs of private funders and Foundations by helping to evaluate the impact of funded programs and policies.
While most of our current workflow is Stata-centric, we also embrace use of other statistical programming tools along the way (that said, having Stata experts in house is certainly welcome, you can get an idea of our work (via a sampling / subset of the public-facing tools and data we create) at our github and website (both linked to my git here: www.github.com/ericabooth )
