    Problem in installing packages

    Hi. Hoping someone can help me.

    I'm trying to install a package, having done "ssc new." When I click on any package from there, I get this sort of error:

    Code:
    package name:  qmodplot.pkg
        from:  http://repec.org/bocode/q/

checking qmodplot consistency and verifying not already installed...
installing into /Users/XXXXXX/Documents/Stata/ado/plus/...
could not rename /Users/XXXXXX/Documents/Stata/ado/plus/next.trk to /Users/XXXXXX/Documents/Stata/ado/plus/stata.trk
    Can anyone advise?

    For future reference, in case anyone finds this message while dealing with a similar problem. I tried exactly the same thing four hours later and everything worked a charm. No idea if the change was at the SCC end, my computer, or what. Ain't technology grand?
