Dear Stata team,
I would like to construct a new unemployment rate (lun) variable using the age 23 unemployment rate (un) in the region of residence (lad) at age 18.
I am working with a individual level panel dataset with an example shown below:
For example, take individual (760267) who lives in region/lad (200) at age 18. I would want the unemployment rate (un) in that region (200) five years later. Notice, I would not want the unemployment rate (un) of that person in his current region of residence (62).
I hope this data example is of some use and I am making sense.
