  • Study Name not showing on the Forest Plot using MIDAS command

    Hello guys,

I am doing a meta-analysis of diagnosis. While running the MIDAS command, the study names are not showing up in forest plots in STATA 17 (In STAT 13, the same commands work fine).

Command used: midas tp fp fn tn, id(studyname) bforest(dss) fordata forstats

    Test dataset used:
    studyname tp fp fn tn
    abc 2023 71 8 4 27
    xyz 2016 67 4 6 1
    lmn 2024 49 26 2 17
    uio 2008 170 4 5 1
    asd 2016 29 2 3 1
    qwe 2017 29 7 7 5
    fgh 2000 29 3 4 5
I would be grateful for any help.
    Thanks!

    Abdullah, have you tried metadta?

    Code:
    findit metadta

Hello Abdullah Akram, the study names are not showing up when I run midas too, and I've tried single vs multi-column study names, and short names, and they still didn't show up. My student showed me that there's an option to right click and edit the figure, then you can add Text onto the figure. Or copy the figure out and add text in by hand using another software.
