  • How to match units by covariate baseline mean and trends?

    I am interested in analyzing the effect of a treatment, by creating a sub-sample containing only matched pairs and to do that, I want to match treated and control counties on the basis of baseline (1980) covariate mean and pre-treatment covariate trend (1980-89). Treatment window is 1990-2010. It would be really very helpful if someone can share as to how can I achieve this.
