Dear Statalist,
I am running a random-effects logistic regression using "xtlogit, re" in Stata/MP 18.5 on Mac and would like to assess the model’s goodness of fit. Given that standard Goodness-of-Fit tests like Hosmer-Lemeshow are not directly applicable to panel data models, I was wondering which alternative tests or approaches are recommended for evaluating the fit of a random-effects logit model. Would you suggest any specific measures or post-estimation commands in Stata for this purpose?
I would appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have!
