I'm trying to explore the reciprocal relationship of two categorical (ordinal) constructs, measured at 3 points in time.
My initial thought was using cross lagged panel model with the help of STATA gSEM and defining an ordinal logit link structure for both constructs.
However, as opposed to regular SEM, cross-sectional effects cannot be controlled for in gsem. Is there any way to include these in the model?
Or is there a better way to explore the reciprocal association of ordinal variables?
