I want to observe the activities of Dependent Variable within one year after the firm-level event (event_date) or before the next event, whichever comes first (Not all firm-level events have a time interval of more than one year). A firm (gvkey) may have multiple events during the sample period. Is it possible to conduct a staggered difference-in-differences regression in this setting?
