MCA coordinate plot

Hey! I made an index of women empowerment using MCA indicator method as all my 4 variables are binary. Now after plotting MCA graph I am confused if the signs matter or just the absolute values? As all my variables indicating high empowerment are close together at one side of axis and those showing low empowerment are clustered on the other side of axis. But the variables showing high empowerment are on the negative pole while low empowerment on the positive pole. I also got range of index from -1.7 to 4.9. and after using TSLS, I got the required positive relation between age at marriage and women empowerment using menarche as an instrument. Now, help me out on how to interpret the signs and absolute value of mca coordinate plot.
