I'm working with psmatch2 and trying to find neighbors for my treated units. Ideally, I'd like to match each treated unit with 5 controls.
However, I'm encountering an issue where I can't find suitable matches for about half of the treated observations. To address this, I'd like to find the maximum number of neighbors possible (up to 5) for each treated unit.
Of course, I could let psmatch2 run five times for each neighbor parameter, however I am looking for a more elegant solution as my dataset is really large. For neighbors 5, the command already took 2 days to process.
Any advice on how to achieve this with psmatch2, or alternative approaches, would be greatly appreciated!
