Why can't I refer to an existing value in stata?

Dear Stata users,

I just encountered a weird issue where I cannot refer to a value that exists in my dataset. Please see below the picture

Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Much better. Even better would have been to show us your data (again in the FAQ #12.2). But Nick Cox did answer your question already.

As Dirk Enzmann flagged in #2 the FAQ Advice explains important small details about using Statalist, including the fact that you cannot delete your own posts. Note that the problem has already been answered in your other thread.
