Importing label values

Hi,

I have multiple datasets the variable name and respective code. A separate csv file contains the variable label values.

They are coded as in csv file:

Variable name	Code	Label
Var1	1	Male
	2	Female
	3	Other
Var2	1	Yes
	2	No

Is there a way of importing all the label values per variable name. I have multiple datasets of 1000+ variables each with separate label values.

Any assistance would be grateful.

-labmask- may be what you need. You can import the csv with the value label into Stata, then use -labmask- to assign these labels to variables.
