  • Prevalence and chi squared

Hi all! I have two variables, BMI (categorical), and years of residence (categorical, <1, 1-5, 5-10, 10-15, >=15). I want to determinate if there are differences in BMI by years of residence, so first I want to get de prevalence of obesity, adjusted by age and sex, and use the X^2 test for trend. I thought this can be done with tabulate BMI years of residence, row chi2, but how I can set the adjustment variables with tabulate?
    Thanks

    Ernesto:
you say you have two variables (BMI=y; years=x) and two controls (age and sex).
    Why not considering -ologit-?
    Kind regards,
