  • about determining the model

    Dear all

I need your help about my paper. I would like to estimate the effect of sports success on financial success. I have some variables:

for instance as an indicator of sports success (independent variables): the number of sports clubs' wins, the number of defeats, the number of draws, the number of transfers they made during the year, sponsorship revenues, etc. and as an indicator of financial success (dependent variables): stock prices, annual profit, rate of return, market capitalization, etc.

which method should I choose to perform such an analysis? i would like to analyze a process covering 10 years for 4 sports clubs. could i perform panel data or cannonical correlation analysis? Actually cannonical correlation analysis will be better for this model in my opinion but I have small observations.

do you have any suggestions for another method in this regard?

thank you in advance for your help.
    best regards.
