  • Rolling window regression with "Asreg" command generates missing results

    Hi all,

    I encountered a problem when trying to estimate a rolling window regression of 1 month on a dataset of daily observations when using the "Asreg" command. My problem is that when I look at the results generated with the following command
    Code:
    by cusip:asreg retx mktrf dvix, window(t_month -2 -1)
    , I observe that the results are missing for some months. Please note that I put
    Code:
    window(t_month -2 -1)
    because I want to use observations in the previous month to estimate rolling window regressions.

    You are using a monthly lag, so there will be missing values when it cannot lag the full period.

      Thank you for your help! My problem is indeed resolved when I apply the same code to a monthly dataset.
