Stata17: problem reproducing line graph with time series data

Hi,

I have difficulties reproducing the attached line graph. I aim to create a very similar graph with different countries and for different international Organisations (IO), but I struggle with the code. Does anyone have an idea how to reproduce this?

note: WVS has data stored in different waves (one wave entails 4 years). Each wave has a different variable (numeric: byte) that measures the confidence in the respective IO.

It's a request here, and a good idea across forums, to tell people about cross-posting.

Your question doesn't explain the format of the data and you don't show any code that you tried. I don't know what WVS data are. Much more important, it seems so far that no one else does either.

Please back up and give a data example and show the code you tried. https://www.statalist.org/forums/help -- especially #8 and #12 -- gives detailed advice.

Looks like an xtline with a lot of formatting (legend position and so forth).
