svygei is a welcome addition for calculating inequality measures using stratified data. However it does not appear to allow for a by (group) option. Is there any way to account for stratified sampling design when calculating standard errors using ineqdeco to calculate decomposed group inequalities?
For context, I'm working with DHS data to measure group-based inequalities in the wealth index. I'm particularly interested in the "Income Share" measure. I've installed svygei and happy with the results, but I receive the following error when trying to decompose:
option by() not allowed
If this isn't an option using svygei, is there any way of sharing the code used to calculate 'income share' in ineqdeco in a format that can be used with svy?
Thank you in advance!
