Hi,
I want to conduct survival analysis using a conditional risk set model (time from previous event), in multiple event data. I have looked at the stata help files and two textbooks. Some resources say I must make a "gaptime" variable representing the time from the previous event to the current event. In others it seems this can be done using the currently existing "eventdate" and "studyentrydate" variables.
When I use a "gaptime" variable it looks in the output like stata is treating "gaptime" as "eventtime".
Do I need a gaptime variable?
Thanks
