command etable is unrecognized

I have Stata 17 but it does not know the etable command. Any ideas why that might be happening?

-etable- was introduced in Stata 18. You are perhaps confusing it with -table-, which was introduced in version 17.

etable was introduced in Stata 17, but after it was already released. You need to update your Stata 17.
