In case it is useful for you and/or your students, I wrote a concise guide on how to construct various types of "coefplot" graphs ("coefplot" is a very popular package, created by Ben Jann, for displaying regression results).
The guide covers how to change key aesthetics, incorporating multiple models, working with logit/probit models, and a bunch of other tricks I've picked up after spending countless hours working through Jann's amazingly comprehensive coefplot website.
The guide and replication .do file can be found at the link below. It does not require the latest version of Stata, and uses Stata's built-in data sets (auto.dta and lbw.dta) for all examples.
