  • Calculating effect size in a mixed model

I have ran "mixed st pc c.rg##i.audr || id:"

And I am trying to find the effect size of audr (categorical IV with 4 levels), estat esize is not working for some reason?

    Would greatly appreciate any help.

    Warm regards

"estat esize" is not an option after mixed; see
    Code:
    help mixed postestimation
note that the estimates produced by estat esize (after -regress- or -anova-) are related to r-squared and adjusted r-squared and these are not produced by -mixed- either

what type of effect size are you looking for as there are numerous definitions in the literature?

Apologies for being unclear, I am really unfamiliar with the repeated measure analysis.
I want to know how much of an effect does my categorical IV (with four levels) has on the dv that is measured twice. When using the contrast command I get the chi2 square statistics and p value, for it but don't know where/how to get an effect size?
