Query Regarding Lagged of Binary Variable

If I need to checks the impact of independent variable at time t on outcome variable at t-1 or t-2. IS it possible to take the logged of dependent variable (if DV is binary variable and its value is 1 or 0). Thanks.

No. Can't take the natural log of 0.

your question, probably due to typos, is ambiguous - but I interpret it differently and the answer is "yes"; see

you can get a lag of the dv no problem, but you can't ln(0), which seems to me to be the question.
