How to drop duplicates without "duplicates drop"

Hi! When I use duplicates drop my Stata comes down. In my data i have an id called mrun, but when i use : duplicates drop or duplicates drop mrun, force Stata comes down.
There is another way of eliminates the duplicates?

Please take a couple of moments to read the FAQs on how to post questions. We need more information. At the very least: What do you mean by "Stata comes down"? Does it throw an error? If so, which one? Does it freeze? Does it crash? Can you provide a replicable example?

Hi! It cash, in like a minute or less it just shout down and i have to open again the program, it kinda freeze first then just shout down

That is very strange. There is still little information. Make sure your Stata is up to date. Type

update all

Other than that, how large is your dataset? How many observations? How many variables? Also, tell us more about your machine (OS, Memory, etc.).
