Hi guys, I am writing my dissertation using Stata comparing GDP per capita across host countries of Olympics and World Cup and comparing them to a "Control" country with geographical both geographical and GDP value similarity. I have created Dummy variables (treated_WorldCup, treated_Olympics) to indicate the treated country in the affected time period (5 years before to 3 years after), time dummies (post_WorldCup, post_Olympics) to indicate time period following the event, and combination dummies (DiD_WorldCup and DiD_Olympics). I am having troubles running the DiD regression per each pair of countries. I realise it should be a fairly easy regression to run however I am new to STATA and due to my lack of experience I am struggling a lot, thanks.
