Play a notification noise after running a long do file?

Hi,

I am running a long do file. It takes about 30 minutes to run. Would be great if it would play some sort of notification noise or I could get a pop-up when it is done running. Anybody know if this is possible?

You can get Stata to make a sound with the (apparently currently undocumented) command beep.

So, just insert the command

beep

just before the end of your do-file.
