Matching children to household in the UKHLS

Hello,
I am researching parental income's impact on children's health in the UK. Currently, I'm having problems matching the children to the household in the UKHLS. I'm trying to merge interest with youth using the hidp variables, but I'm not too sure how to go about doing this in STATA or if I am on the right track.

I've used joinby to match on hidp in other UK data. Sometimes the hidp variable as a longer name in one or the other dataset, so you've got to rename or duplicate it.
