Hi, has anyone worked with the IFLS-5 Indonesia dataset, I am trying to combine several datasets with individual data into one large dataset but when merging certain datasets i get the output 'variables pid14 hhid14 do not uniquely identify observations in the master data' or even using data, in few instances. i don't think there are any duplicate observations. can anyone help, please

Why do you think that? Duplicates of these two variables may not be duplicates of all variables. Look at the data:

    Code:
    bys pid14 hhid14: gen tag=_N>1
    browse if tag

maybe a pid has moved to a different hhid.
