I'm currently using Stata 17 to create an Excel codebook for all variables in a dataset, as shown in the following image. I am hoping to find a command that will allow me to export all of the following information to Excel in one step:
1. variable name, variable type, variable label, and value label for all variables.
2. mean, SD, min, and max for continuous variables.
3. category name, categorical frequency, and categorical percentage for categorical variables.
I have tried some commands, but it seems they can only export descriptive statistics either for continuous variables or for categorical variables, but this is not what I want. I hope I can export all information just using one command.
