I am facing a problem in running codes together. Although my codes are seems to okay, after running thousands of codes (3000+ lines) together, suddenly error r(608) is appearing up twice in between and showing that "......is read-only; cannot be modified or erased" (please see the attachments). But if re-run from that point where the error occurred, then its running without a problem. I also did check on https://www.stata.com/support/faqs/w...0these%20files. Wherein which it mentioned that "There are files (or directories) in your Stata installation directory that are marked as read-only by the operating system. You will need to change the permissions on these files". I tired looking into this in STATA folder in programmes files in my computer, but could not find the directory. I really have no idea how to resolve this. Can someone kindly help me.
