  • Blue Color in Do-File Editor

    Hi everyone,

This is probably a silly question. I understand that the commands are in blue color, such as "generate" and "replace", but why is "post" variable that I am trying to define is also blue? I assume some command also has the name of "post"? Does it matter? Should I change the variable name?

Thank you very much for reading my question.

    Best,
    Jacob

post is also the name of a command in Stata. The editor just has a list of words that get the color blue.

Thanks, Maarten, for your reply. Will it cause any issues if I keep the variable name as "post." Would you recommend me to change it?
