meta regression in Stata

Hello,

I'm writing a proposal that will involve the use of meta regression, which I plan to do in Stata. I was going to look into using the metareg command, but I just saw the new meta meregress command in Stata 18. Does anyone know the differences between them? Thank you!

Stata’s manuals are all online so you can look up -meta regress- and compare with metareg. I haven’t looked at metareg in a while but I’m pretty sure the new meta suite can handle everything it can do and more.
