I am new to statistics. I was wondering if anyone can help me.
1-I have cross sectional data (individual level, board level and company level). I know should use bysort command and aggregate the individual level variables to company level. which i did. However do i have to aggregate the board level data to company level? e.g board size as control variable
2-Also, I am confused about the firm level variables. Do i do anything with them or i use them just as they are. variables are firm age, R&D expenses, firm age
3-my independent variables are board gender ratio and 2 other dummy variables on board level. should i aggregate them as well.
4-my dependent variable is patent number of companies. I guess i leave it as it is?
