We (Leo Iacovone, David McKenzie and Rachael Meager) are looking to hire someone proficient in Stata's Bayesian tools to replicate a basic form of the analysis from our paper, "What are the Effects of Improving Management Practices on Exporting among SMEs in Middle-Income Countries*? A Comparison of Bayesian and Frequentist Impact Evaluation Approaches".
The frequentist analysis is already in Stata, and our present Bayesian analysis is in R using stan. We want to see how far Stata's Bayesian tools can get us to replicate those results. We are looking for a short-term consultant or research assistant, ideally to start as soon as possible, and we anticipate that this task would take 2-3 weeks of work for someone proficient in these tools
To get in touch please email both Rachael (rachael.meager at gmail.com) and David (dmckenzie at worldbank.org) with the subject line "Stata Bayes Project"
