Imagine that you conducted a prospective study where you followed 10 patients over time and documented when they die. By the end of the study, 7 patients died (their follow-up time were 2, 3, 3, 5, 7, 8, 8 years) and 3 patients were still alive (their follow-up time were 2, 4, 7 years).



▪Task:
•Please derive the survival function for these patients using the Kaplan-Meier estimator.
•Please calculate the probability that a patient is alive after 3 years.
•Please calculate the median survival time.
