Can I use Tobit Model for categorical data?

Hi, So I have a survey that asks respondends whether they have heard of a product? And then goes on to ask (ONY those who are aware of it), if they have used the product in the past. Will a two step Tobit Model work here? My understanding is that the Truncated regression is only for continuous variables?

Dear Teresa Mungazi,

Assuming that those who never heard of the product did not use it in the past, I would do a simple binary model where those who never heard of the product are treated as those who have heard of it but did not use it.
