My study partner and I are experiencing some troubles with STATA - we really hope that you may help us.
We are trying to analyse how Public Sector Corruption (variable name: v2x_corr) is affected if countries are hosting either the FIFA World Cup or the Summer Olympics.
We have managed to do a regression (it may no be perfect....)
But know we want to do three DiD analysis' and appertaining graphically plots of Germany, Brazil and South Korea, respectively.
We have coded the dummy variable host_wc (1 if hosting the World Cup in a given year, 0 otherwise), host_so (1 if hosting the Summer Olympics in a given year, 0 otherwise), host_final (1 if hosting either the World Cup or the Summer Olympics in a given year, 0 otherwise).
We don't know if it is possible to look at countries with multiple events (we don't expect this to be possible). So our primary focus for the DiD analysis is The FIFA World Cup i Germany in 2006, The FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the The Summer Olympics in South Korea in 1988
We have attached our STATA datafile. STATA Help.dta
Thank you.
Best Regards
