  • Jeff Wooldridge teaching Causal Inference and DiD methods in Stata

    Hi everyone

In case you're interested, Jeff Wooldridge is offering two Instats seminars on Causal Inference with Cross Sectional Data (March 21 - 22) as well as a Difference-in-Difference (DiD) methods (April 4 - 5) using Stata. These are part of a larger 4-part series on panel data modeling using Stata, including an intro to panel data and advanced (nonlinear) panel data models in Stata. There are still some spots available, but attendance is limited.

Come along if you're interested and please feel free to tell your colleagues/students about it!

    Mike

    Hi Everyone

After a request for additional information, the seminars by professor Wooldridge will be held 11am - 5pm EST (New York time) over Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in the world. The Instats platform allows accessing all workshop content for a 30-day period, including the full 6 hour recordings for each day in case you'd like to participate asynchronously or revisit the material after the seminar has concluded.

The seminar pricing is approximately $400 for researchers and $270 for PhD students, but our institutional partners automatically receive a 30% discount when registering with their university (or employer's) email address. It's free to become an Instats institutional partner, so feel free to get in touch with me at [email protected] with additional details. The full 4-part structured course offers a further 10% discount on this pricing, which is automatically applied when registering.

Also, if you're a Stata expert and would like to offer content on the Instats platform, please get in touch with me directly to discuss. We're always looking to expand our Stata offerings to benefit the research community!

Thanks and we hope to see you there!

    Mike
