Exporting data to Excel

hello, I am trying to export data from STATA into excel, every time I try it gives me this error. could someone support me
_xlshwritestrcol(): 9901 Stata returned error
export_excel_write_file(): - function returned error
export_excel_export_file(): - function returned error

is your Stata copy fully updated?
That said, why not considering the -table- suite available from Stata 17?

If by data you mean your actual dataset, or part of it, then you should use -export excel-.

Please also show us the code that resulted in the error.
