  • How to measure correlation in panel data?

    Dear STATA Users,
I would like to measure correlation between variables in my panel data (N=21, T=8). I know, that simple Pearson correlation index ist not appropriate in this case. Is there any analogous index for panel data?
Thank you in advance for the answer.

    Lucas:
can't you go -estat vce, corr-?
    Kind regards,

Thank you Carlo for advice. I mentioned that I would like to measure correlation between variables but not between coefficients in the regression equation. Maybe I don't understand the problem though and that means the same thing?

        np, they are different issues.
Sorry, but I cannot help you out with that.
        Kind regards,

Why not? If you want to measure correlation between variables, then I don't see why Pearson's method wouldn't work.

Are you asking about correlation between residuals over time or something?
