"synth" not found at SSC

Hi,
I am trying to install the user-created "synth" command.

However, the code

ssc install synth

generates the following error message:
"ssc install: "synth" not found at SSC, type search synth
(To find all packages at SSC that start with s, type ssc describe s)
r(601);"


I've been able to install this command before, but I recently got a new Macbook (M2 chip) and have not been able to install it since.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue and found a solution?
