I want to estimate a spatial weight matrix to deal with spatial dependence in my panel data. I want to use the following code: spatwmat, stand name(name-of-matrix) xcoord(lat) ycoord(long) band(0 10).
However, my data include shape length and shape area information only. Is there any way I can convert the shape length and shape area information to x-coordinate and y-coordinate information? Any suggestion and guidance would be appreciated.
