Variable search and report of frequency.

I am trying to use the UK Qulaterly Labour Force Survey to find the frequency of different ethnic minorities in Each country i.e. England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. How do I search the dataset on stata to give me this information? The reason I ask is that I want it to display both the country of residence and the ethnicity of the individuals. e.g. England: White British (500), Indian (150) Pakistani (150) .... Then the same for the rest of the countries. Do let me know if you need any more info

It more generally about how to use stata. So what stata commands would i need to use to do this. Do you have any recommedations of any resources that could help me with learning how to use stata ? I'm still a newbie at using it

New users often overlook the difference between the help files (what you see when you type in Stata help) and the manual (the pdf files that the help files link to). The latter are much more detailed and are really helpful for beginners.
