Minimum number of panels for panel data estimation.

please help me out.
Actually I have a dataset with 3 countries (N) and 20 years (T).
Now i wish to know, if i could run the panel regression.
What is the minimum number of countries required for panel estimation.

welcome to this forum.
If your -panelvar- is -country- (N) and your time-series dimension (T) stretches over a 20-year timespan, you're dealing with a T>N panel dataset (see -xtgls- and -xtregar-).
As per definition, the smallest N dimension=2.
