  • testing for balance

I am trying to test for balance between four groups in a covariate and am not sure how to go about it.
The question I am trying to answer is:
"Now test for balance in these two covariates between the four groups: those in the control, those receiving therapy, cash, or both"

My two covariates are "age" and "years of schooling"

What test can I use to do this?

Welcome to Statalist. When you pose your question as

Now test for balance in these two covariates between the four groups: those in the control, those receiving therapy, cash, or both
it sounds like a school assignment. If so, see #4 https://www.statalist.org/forums/help#adviceextras on our policy on that. If not, clarify.

Perhaps you would be ever so kind to help me out with my post . I’ve been through all the posts on propensity scores published on statalist ! There are many left unanswered perhaps as it’s a speciList subject…

I do look at the forum almost every day, so if I found your post interesting, I would have replied. In any case, you should tag me on that thread and not on an unrelated thread. https://www.statalist.org/forums/for...-and-after-psm.
